Vehicle Safety

Did you know that motor vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death among children in the United States?

Children Across America’s vehicle safety program is focused on keeping your kids safer through awareness. Led by our role model, “Bucky,” the buckleupasaurus, we teach children the importance of buckling their seat belt and being safe in and around cars.

Things to Know About Vehicle Safety

  • Buckle up, it will save a life!
  • Parents, make sure you have the right car safety seats
  • Do not stay in a hot car
  • Do not stand behind cars
  • Trunks are for luggage, not for kids
  • Do not sit in the open bed of a pickup truck

Attend an Upcoming Event

All are invited to CAA’s upcoming safety events throughout the New England area. Bucky also makes special appearances during CAA’s Summer STREAM Club and Saturday STEM Club programs!
