Empowering Children Through Education
Every child benefits from opportunities that develop their reading and math skills. One student plus our unique education programs equals lasting success. In addition to teaching children how to read, the literacy program focuses on making literature enjoyable and interactive. This results in children wanting to read more – even outside of school. Our math program brings concepts to life. It offers a fun environment where the children can practice and discover the use of numbers in everyday life.
Building Leaders And Mentors
Our team at Children Across America also trains high school students in its programs and activities. In turn, these students act as mentors for their younger counterparts. These high schoolers co-host the book and math clubs, interact with elementary school students, and carry out our mission to empower and improve. Not only do the mentors have fun teaching, but they also learn about mentoring and leadership. These skills will be applied in college and at work as they go on to further success.
